AI & Good Practice Master Class

The Good Practice Company is pleased to announce three upcoming workshops in collaboration with our colleague Alexander van Wel (Meerkat Creative & Consulting):

✦ Essentials for AI & Good Practice ✦

April | May | June – limited to 10 professionals per session

3 hours + networking: $550+GST

(3 CPD hours)

Alex and I are both Oxford–certified AI specialists – he brings expertise in change management, communications and strategy; I bring a background in professional practice, ethics and governance, including accreditation as an AI Ethicist through the OxEthica programme.

We've just completed two pilot sessions with a small group of New Zealand professionals. Here's what they told us:

"This series has been an invaluable introduction to the staggering power and potential of AI, its omnipresence, risks and corresponding benefits."

"I found these sessions very useful and eye opening – I feel more confident with the legal and ethical aspects of AI, which has helped me start to use it comfortably."

"A great way to start getting to grips with the many and varied issues, opportunities and challenges that AI creates for individuals and organisations."

In 3 hours together, you'll walk away with:

→ What AI actually is – foundations, not hype

→ Genuine AI literacy – enough to use it safely and critically

→ The ethics and governance landscape, including what it means for NZ professionals

→ A practical framework and key tools to get started responsibly

Small group. Real conversation. Practical outcomes.

This isn't a tech event – it's a professional practice event. If you're a professional - such as a lawyer, accountant, HR advisor or consultant - wondering how to start with AI responsibly, this is for you.

Spaces are strictly limited to 10 per session. Get in touch to register your interest for Thursday 23 April, Friday 22 May or Thursday 25 June.
